Our History

Horses for the Spirit (HFTS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity organization serving Northern Nevada.  Founded in 2005, through the help of volunteers who have donated in excess of 15,000 hours, HFTS has built a successful youth program. We combine Equine Assisted Learning with Natural Horsemanship ground work to teach positive life and social skills to youth in our community.
