To partner humans and horses for positive transformation.
Mission
- Serve as many youth in Washoe County who have a need and/or desire to participate in our programs;
- Enhance, enrich and improve the lives of humans and horses;
- Create programs that are valued by our clients and colleagues, in which a high percentage of our clients attain their program goals and return to work with us;
- Have a majority of our clients come to us through personal and professional referrals;
- Acquire a home facility to support our services;
- Generate a fiscally self-sustaining organization through program fees for service, fundraising, grants and scholarships;
- Move from an all volunteer to an employee/volunteer staff by 2012;
- Maintain a close relationship with other equine assisted programs.
